I’m currently in Gallery North’s “Winners Circle” Show.
This exhibit features the work of artists who won awards during the gallery’s 43 annual outdoor art show last September.

In May 09, I have been asked to participate in “The Big Show” at The Silas Marder Gallery in Bridgehampton, NY.

Also in May, I will be showing in the Roselie Dimond Gallery located in
The Jamesport Manor

I recently received an Award of Excellence at the Art League of Long Island’s 52 Long Island Artists Exhibit for the painting called
“Eric at the Boatworks”

I also received 3rd place in Oils and Acrylics at the 43rd annual Gallery North Outdoor Art Show

  
     

I was commissioned to provide artwork for the new wing of the
Stony Brook University Hospital.

In addition to creating the
40” x 60” painting "Stony Brook Harbor" for the lobby, I was also asked to provide 48 prints of my other paintings to be used in each of the new rooms.

  
     

The Sebonac Golf Club of Southampton, N. Y. commissioned me to make three views of their course.

This is the "11th Hole"

 
     
I was also asked by the
Bay Shore Brightwaters Library to paint this 40” x 60” view of a Bay Shore Canal		  
     
I spent a week in September painting in Chatham on Cape Cod with some of the members from the Long Island Plein Air Painters Society.
That was a fun trip.



  
     


Dan's Papers has honored me twice by selecting my paintings, “Montauk Deer” and “Montauk Umbrella” for their May 2nd and April 11th, '08 covers

 
     

 

  
   

In April, I was in Montauk, where I hung over 20 framed, hand signed prints of my work at Montauk’s Fishbar restaurant.
The archival quality prints depict scenes from Montauk as well as other marine related Long Island views.

The work is available for purchase right off the restaurants walls.

It’s perfect for someone who wants to take home a nice memory of their stay out on the eastern tip of Long Island.

Last year I joined a group of talented painters and we created a group called the
Long Island Plein Air Painters Society.
(also known as LIPAPS)


 
   

My Hula Girl really knows how to get around.
An English band called Ukebox Jury has recently used her image on the cover of their new CD. 		 
   

Canvas Magazine recently featured my Hula Girl Picture on their cover and ran
a nice article as well.
